Dear aerotinkerers,

I would like to make a secure wing strut mount for my new airdata probe for a Cessna 172. The GoPro camera mounts out there seem flimsy and expensive. I would like to just make two matching pieces of some hard non-scratching substance (maple, phenolic, ...) to clamp the strut, with a pair of wingnuts (so it's removable without tools), and attach my device to those. For that, I would really like an accurate drawing of the profile of the wing strut. I could try to measure it, but that would be a last resort. :)

Where can I get this information?

Kind regards,

Ihab Awad
