I would appreciate any recommendation on what's dependable fuel/oil lines to use on a 2 stroke engine alone with some reuseable clamps. It seems there's many PWC's securing fuel lines with tie-wraps. It every hose manufacture is totting their hoses as the best. In the past I have used Tygon tubing but, it's almost $2 foot now just like hi-priced aluminum tubing!
I have seriously considered sawing down one of my 25 acres of trees and toting it to our local sawmill. At least it could be quarter sawed without any sapwood. Too bad oak is so heavy there's many simple cut and burned to clear land. Next to nasty mesquite, oak is really tough wood without the big thorns.
