Hello all,
I am looking at purchasing a completed airplane that has been sitting for about 15 years in a hanger in the Dallas area. It supposedly was flown to the current spot in 2001 but hasnt flown since then. The engine is a Continental Tiara 285hp. The airplane is a compair 6. What would I be getting into? I was a fulltime auto mechanic for over 10 years and I have built houses so I am fairly good with wrenches and I'm not afraid to get dirty but I dont want to get myself into something that will cost more money than its worth.

Gabe
