Hello everyone,

So I have being working on this design of an SSDR float plane for a project I am working on. I remember having some help from here when i was having a challenge for the float design, and I found much help last. Here I am again with a new challenge of mine, and this time it has to do with the wing structure. So i have familiarize myself already with the spar section of the wing and completed that design, but what puzzled me is now the ribs sizing. To be specific I do not know how to size my ribs thickness and how to estimate the number of ribs I should use on my wing span. I am sure there must be a simple design rule i a not yet aware of that I can use as an approximation. Could anyone enlighten me on this subject?
