I've reviewed a number of threads here and I'm curious to the ratio of ultralight-friendly airports to those that flatly don't want you there.

From some of the threads, I understand that airports getting public funding pretty much have to let you use the site (provided, of course, you land or take off there legally), but I'm curious about private airports. Is it going to tough to get permission from the majority of them?

I plan to operate a legal 103 ultralight, or, if it is overweight, N-number it and fly it with a legal sport pilot license.

I'm not the kind of person that would do reckless flying or other airport hijinks, but I do want to know what kind of hurdle I'm facing in finding places to fly to/from.

Thank you!
