I am totally enthralled with the cri cri build by madrocketscientsist. I found a model turbine powered version and I wondered if you couldn't simply slide the engines farther aft, move the wing/main gear back to compensate for the CG shift. I made this model today to illustrate. (I haven't found cheap cad software i liked) The only real advantage would be to open the horizon/runway view for the pilot. I imagined the model turbines mounted on the wing like the Hondajet.

Q: Are turbines of this size any more reliable than 2-strokes?

Q: Would the aft turbines be any quieter than the noisy 2-strokes up front?

Q: How would fuel efficiency compare? I've heard the 2-strokes can go through 18 liters an hour.
