Could two small 2-cycle motors be run in tandem to drive one prop for the sake of redundency? Perhaps two motors on a single redrive. All three Belt spools would have to be able to "free wheel" like the cassette on the back of a mountain bike so that the loss of one engine would not affect the other engine.
Legally is it still considered two motors if it only has one prop?
