The original builder of my Hiperbipe installed floorboards and baggage compartment walls made of thin (.020) aluminum facing sheets on either side of a ½ inch high density foam core. This is neat material (light and very stiff), and I was wondering if anyone had a source for it? I’ve been unable to find the material, and based upon other hardware found on the airplane as well as his proximity to Boeing, I guessed that he procured this material as manufacturing surplus from the company. Any ideas?
