Alright so I just got a kitfox. Now the owner before who originally built it. Got it all ready to fly. Registered and everything. Was takin it to the airport to fly it. When it fell off the trailer and damaged the airplane. The damage will require me to strip the covering off an do considerable amount of work. Now he took the experimental dataplate off and terminated te tail number as destroyed. Now I have the photosof when e built is and such. If I do 51% of the work. Would that mean that I become the ogin builder and I could put my name of the experimental dataplate? And request the old tail number so I don't have to
put a new tail number on it?
