I'm trying to do a rough weight estimation. I can do it for a composite knowing densities but I want to compare it with weight of other constructions of the same size, specifically aluminium spars + aluminium ribs + fabric like on planes mentioned in the title and aluminium spars + wooden ribs + fabric. I don't expect the composite wing to be any lighter, I just find it to be more easy to build (no ribs).
