Planning for a DD VW (75HP), thus it should fly well with a Rotax or Jabiru as well.
Per Duncan's request, this is something that might be a future option:

Direct-drive and roughly the same weight as an O200, but a tad more HP...
Looking at the power graph, are you thinking of running a turbine on the end of that? LOL.
Is that based on the BMW V8?
A propfan-like fixed pitch one. 30-40" diameter. No need for other cranks (gyroloads are tiny), PSRU's, turbo's or other complexities. The trade-off is obviously in static thrust, but nothing unacceptable (take off) with that much power.Looking at the power graph, are you thinking of running a turbine on the end of that? LOL.

The heads of a Hayabusa motorbike with a new block. Hartley also makes them and you can find them in the Atom 500 and in the Radical SR8. Both are leading the score board in Top Gear. Comparable prices to a IO-550 or similar. Is that based on the BMW V8?
