Just acquired new engine / ff for my project; O-360 with all accessories. Came with nearly-new starter and battery. Only issue is the starter and battery are 24v. Most of my airplane is OK with 12 or 24 v, except for the LED navigation/strobe/beacon lights which are 12v only.

I envision using a DC-DC converter to keep the lights I have.

Is anyone aware of good-quality (but not necessarily aircraft-certified part$)?? Less than 10A. There are lots of inexpensive ones on Amazon and Ebay, but quality seems hit or miss. I have come across a brand called Victron that seems to be a step up in quality. The aircraft grade parts on ASS are $500+, the cheap ones on Amazon are ~$20. Victrons seem to cost about $50 but seem to be an Australian/New Zealand brand and hard to source in US.

Thanks in advance
