I have been looking at certain designs for a pre-rotor.
The one thing that concerns me is the friction and the possible failure of the prerotor assembly to restrict rotor movement.

I was considering the use of a air powered prerotor. Basically its a turbine fan blade then a turbine fan to power the prerotor. No friction, no direct mechanical failure. The weight will be considerably less as well. Can be 12v powered. Any thoughts or concerns?
