Anyone ever considered using the technique applied to things like tents or washing baskets to
make a folding wing that by twisting can be compacted and erected?
The rodding would be around the periphery and parafoil 'cells' would give the wing some
Thickness etc.
I'm picturing something in the deregulated (very light) category.
Maybe a paraglider configuration but without the mass of lines.
2 people could twist and fold the wing by hand.
