Pure and simple flying is what the Air Camper is all about. The Piet is a 'tried and true' design and has proven itself through many years. I am seriously considering building the Air Camper. I ordered the plans last week. My question is, are there some areas that would make the plane more user friendly. I have read the cockpit is a tight fit and the design has a tendency to come out a bit tail heavy. I am 6' and 190 pounds. I am not looking to improve on the overall design of the Piet. I am however, looking to improve areas for my own comfort. I plan on building the extended fuselage version, along with the 100 hp Corvair conversion. Two other issues I am considering are raising the wings a few inches and widening the fuselage a few inches as well. Any insights would be appreciated. Thanks - Lon
