I’m optimizing my vertical tail geometry by CFD to have the rudder to be able to deflect to a higher angle without causing stall. In order to do this, I was trying to look for existing vertical stabilizer and rudder airfoil designs firstly. The only design I found is shown as the picture attached. The airfoil shape of the part lightened by the color of blue in the attached picture (vertical stabilizer ‘trailing’ edge part and rudder leading edge part) shall be the airfoil part that I’d like to optimize most.
Could anyone let me know where could I find more existing vertical stabilizer and rudder airfoil or provide the link directly? I’m quite interested in having a look at them, especially the very unusual ones.
