I've always been a bit partial to the Quickie and one has turned up for sale. I'm not giving up on my design but thought it would be good to get some hands on while I'm at it...

The Quickie forums has a lot of information and I was wondering if anyone else here has suggestions about what else to look for?

The kit is listed as 98% complete (needs radio, transponder, ELT to finish). So any common traps? The fuel tank has been repaired so I will assume the worst about the front canard until I've inspected it. Is there a good way to inspect it without cutting it up?
