Hi all,
The attached drawing is the landing gear of the Texas Parasol.
I’m not saying that the gear is not good but I like something with less drag.
As the gear weights also more than 18 lbs (no wheels) I believe that there is
room to build something lighter too.
A laminated wood blade or perhaps a composite part?
Somebody out there who has an idea?
Does someone have experience with using a tail skid instead of a tail wheel?
Goal is to enter the plane into the SSDR class so weight is extremely important.
(more or less like the part103...)
