Considering that the traditional Sitka and Douglas material has become cost prohibitive to make straight beam spars from I've been pondering laminated spars from several smaller pieces and even built-up spars using a plywood web. Any folks here have actual experience and expertise in such fabrication? Information seems to be scant.
