Hope you dont consider this suggestion too stupid
Have you ever thought about a machine that impregnates the fibreblankets?
I searched around and found a couple of them but they are for profesional/industrial use and cost a nice pile of bucks. They adjust the resin content accuracy at below 1%. Just pics available, but no technical description or plans available.
For hobby usage a resin content accuracy of 3-4% would be satisfactory.
We could avoid using prepregs and could guarantee the complete impregnation of the blankets avoid dry zones and acceptable curing temperatures.
The bigest problem should be cleaning the machine.
Maybe it could be designed relatively compact.
