Dear Fellow Homebuilders,

I have a question that has been plaguing me for some time now. I am looking for a fuel sender and gauge for my composite header tank.

I am looking for a bendable sender that can be mounted on the upper, center, rear section of the backside panel of my fuel tank. This is the only solution I can think of with the way my tank is designed that would work.

The depth of my tank from that location to the lowest point is about 12 inches.

I have also seen some liquid sensors that attach to the outside of the tank and detect the level of fuel but I have bot seen a gauge that would be used in the cockpit for that application.

The original plans calf for a sight tube as the level indicator but there have been many builders of the same kit that have had there's crack and leak. Some of these were discovered in flight. Does not appeal to me at all.

Any products, knowledge, advice, or wisdom ,is welcome.

Thanks for the help gentleman!
Sincerely and Respectfully,

Yellowhammer

Ps;
Attached you will see a picture of the inside of my tank to get an idea of what it looks like. This is the best picture I could find off hand.
