Watching his videos brought a little color back to my graying beard......

Went back and re-read some of the discussion of a conventional class quickie style idea but it devolved without alot of resolution.....

My "DIY Guy Inspiration" this morning was wandering how quickly you could build a conventional tcraft/cub size/style plane with hotwired wings and tail-feathers and some sort of composite fuselage..... <1000hrs firewall back???
Perhaps (probably?) heavier than whatever you were copying, but by how much?
Copying (for the most part) some existing design would eliminate alot of time trying to figure out shapes and layout etc....

Any of you get any color back in your beards lately? What thoughts have you had?
