What I mean is a Cub style landing gear, pinned at the fuselage with bungee cords. Many planes use this, or something similar.

I tried modeling it in Lisa, but it gives ridiculous results, like the displacement under load is several million miles!

It seems that the combination of the pinned joints and bungee-type springs results in no constraints on the wheels, even though I put a fixed support on the fuselage and the legs are hinged at the fuselage.

Am I missing some important point, or is this something that can't be done in FEA?
