Guys/gals
I’m getting ready to finish up my CH750 STOL elevator (finally), specifically the Ray Allen 5 - wire trim servo to its pigtail portion. The drawings don’t really tell you how to connect it, Jon Croke soldered his in his video, I’m just wondering what you folks have done here. I’m imagining a future moment of trouble shooting a trim servo and how much more convenient it would be to have a plug here rather than a permanent soldered connection. Maybe that’s a mistake and a point of future failure. If not though, has anyone used a weatherpak style connector from the car industry? I can’t seem to find a suitable aircraft part on spruce, (probably because I don’t know exactly what to search for.) any experience or advice would be appreciated.
Cheers
Austin
