Greets,
I'm going to start on an Affordaplane before tackling the larger 2 seat plane I'm working on.
I was wondering, what engines have been used? I'm looking to keep it inexpensive and light, so one consideration I had was a 2 or 4 stroke motorcycle engine with a belt or chain drive. Seems I can get in the 40-50 HP range @6000 RPM, so a 2:1 Reduction would probably work fine.
Thoughts? Suggestions?
