Getting lots of feedback, both positive and negative, about the closing of this thread. And seemingly lots of confusion about what's happened and what's going on.
'Raptor' is not "off-limits" on HBA. Interest in the project is very high, and we understand that. But making the discussion all about the people involved isn't what HBA is about, just like it isn't on any other portion of the forum. Pages of "Peter this, Peter that, Peter is a saint, Peter is the devil," will end up closing up a new thread just as surely as it has the last two, because you guys can't seem to refrain from making it about the person instead of about the project. Same goes for speculating about fraud, misuse of funds, etc. Unless you've just *personally* obtained a court judgement proving your claims, speculating about illegal or immoral actions is nothing but gossip, and is specifically against the HBA Code of Conduct.
Talk about the airplane, talk about its strengths and shortcomings, talk about events, talk about *facts* regarding the project. If you want to gossip about people, the doors to Facebook and Twitter are
here and
here.
If you have any doubts about posting something, refer to the HBA Code of Conduct, which each and every one of you should've read at least once. If you haven't, do so.
