Real early days but for as long as I can remember I have always wanted to build my own aircraft and I have a love for the old warbirds. I am looking at a scale P-51 but seeing there's a few options out there not sure which way to go. I'm probably going the wrong way but would love to use the Toyota V12 1GZ-FE engine as the power plant. I have been leaning towards the Falconar SAL 2/3 scale Mustang as it gets a good write up and seems would be less expensive overall compared to other options.
However I do believe my engine choice would be too big for this airframe.
What do the pros think?
