Last November my compressor suffered a complete meltdown.
I have since replaced it with a more substantial unit.
I was about to haul the old one out to the dumpster when I got an Idea to convert it to a vacuum pump system.
I stripped it down and set the vacuum pump where the compressor pump once resided, added a little plumbing and a adjustable vacuum switch and ended up with a portable system that has a 16 gallon reservoir.
This setup pulls some serious vacuum (28.2" plus with a atmospheric reading of 29.8")
