How big a sheet? Hobby shops sell 1/64" plywood; I think I got it in 2' x 4' sheets some years ago.

Always keep clothes and weapons where you can find them in the dark.

Wicks Aircraft has various kinds of plywood.

They have it in 4' by 4' sheets and I am pretty sure they will cut it for shipping to whatever size you need. They have it down to 0.8 mm thick.

This may be strange, but does anyone know where I can get 1mm (approx) sheets ofNON aircraft plywood? Ron

All plywood that is not stamped as aviation quality are non aviation...1 mm is available...for aviation use I would not use 2nd grade plywood ( it has branch wood marks on it ) since it is weaker.

0,4 mm is the thinnest !

Quite a few years back I found some 3'x6' sheets of 3/16" at Home Depot. I believe they were skins for making hollow doors. I've made quite a few RC with them by ripping them into 1" strips.

I measured the 0,4 mm plywood I have on my scale and it indicates 4 gr for 100 cm2.....and plywood is generally indicated ar 640-700 kg /m3 which would yield 256-280 grams for m2..the 0,4 mm may have more glue and there is no way I can brake it by pulling that 10 cm x 10 cm piece apart with my hands. This may be too strong stuff for the wing covering if lightness is the goal?
