Just thought you might like to know we are building a Supermarine S5 ( Schneider Cup race winner) flying replica at Bodmin Airfield in Cornwall, UK. The wings are just about finished and then we shall start on the floats. It wont have the original Napier Lyon engine, but will use a Continental IO-360.
The whole aircraft is constructed in Spruce and we hope to finish it for the race Centenary which will be 2027.
