For the latest EM-5 ECUs, we've just released the new 8 channel data logging/ digital dash feature for easier tuning of the system. Hardware kit allows a USB connection to a Windows compatible XP/ 7/ 8.1 laptop. Also allows you to save and print maps after programming changes. Programming is still done via the panel mountable programmer/ gauge head.
While we've had a simple, embedded AFR vs. RPM data logging feature for the last 8 years, it was not designed with aviation use in mind. This latest one addresses both aviation and automotive markets with a lot more information and features for the user. A retrofit kit is available for any EM-5 ECUs purchased after Aug. 13/14. Older EM-5s may be returned for reflashing with V25 software and have the parts and data port hole added.
