I got wondering.....is there any difference in the clamping or holding strength of a blind/pulled rivet if it is done with a hand riveter vs. an air rivet gun? My reason for wondering is, is it possible that the mandrel might break more easily with the faster, more "jerking" pull of the air gun vs. the steadier, slower pressure of a hand rivet tool. The compairison I'd use is "pushing" on something with a hammer vs. "hitting" the same object.

Thanks in advance

Lynn
