Is post curing the components of a plans-built composite aircraft ( i.e. moldless construction) worth the effort? I've noticed that most plans-built composite aircraft are painted white because of the negative affects of the sun heating composite material that was left to cure at room temperature. Don't get me wrong, I like white :D, but it would be nice to be able to paint a plans-built composite aircraft a more appealing color. Does anyone have any insight in this matter? Thanks in advance.
