    Actually, I think that is the OLD life. I believe Scaled was developing the airplane under contract (hence the term "SOW"--statement of work). Last I heard, Stratolaunch itself is up for sale.

    IOW, "we've done as much as we're ever going to get paid for (build it and one whole flight) and are kicking this white elephant out. Leave us alone, as we no longer have anything to do with it".

    You should see them try to move that thing on the ground - I don't know that "portable" is a word I'd use to describe it.

    Has it already flown once? If it did, I must have missed that.

    Strap a water tank underneath and put out both of the big California wildfires burning right now with one pass.
