I was more than excited to take my first training flight today:) I hadn't really planned on starting my flying today but my schedule opened up a bit so I called the airpark to see if the instructor and plane were available. The instructor said if we go up soon enough we'd beat the storms blowing in but it would be a bit bumpy. It was pretty bumpy but I enjoyed the challenge and also learned right off the bat to be smooth on the controls and let the plane bounce around the way it wants to. The only thing the instructor said I needed to change is that I don't need to bank at such a steep angle. I guess that's a common issue with sport bike riders who fly:gig: The turns may have been a tad steep but at least I held my altitude and my turns were coordinated. I can't wait until my next flight:ban:
