Hello, i am 18 years old and am a student pilot. I currently have 32 flight hours and am wanting to continue on to get my private in another 10 hours or so of solo time. the problem is, i cant fly solo until i have my medical certification, which i am sure you all know. The reason why i have not obtained my medical is due to the fact that i cannot find out what it is i 100% need to be cleared for anti-depressants my mom put me on when i was 15. I took the anti-depressants for less than a year and stopped taking them because they were pointless, the sadness i was experiencing was something that i to this day believe to have been purely situational and now that i am no longer in that situation i do not experience such sadness. What im trying to say is, im not a crazy bi polar lunatic that is going to fly his plane into the ground.... i really want to get my private pilots license but like i said im not sure what exactly i need to verify that im not crazy and everything to the FAA because the medical examiner ive been talking to is very beat-around-the-bush about it and not straight forward about what exactly i need.
