I was just watching a program on Roku about the various Messerschmidt aircraft developed during WW2.
One of them was the ME-210 that I have never heard of. Probably because it was a flop, and caused Willy M. to loose his position as head of the company that bears his name.
It was so unstable that no one wanted to fly it. The Luftwaffe ordered 1000 based on the specs on paper, even before the prototype had flown. Only 90 were actually delivered.
It was a twin engine low wing design. There was a bombay ahead of the wing. When the doors were open it became so unstable that a crew would open them in flight only if they had a death wish! Even with the doors closed it was difficult to handle.
That is why you should keep your rudder in the back!
