Hi Guys,

We are doing some market research on electrical requirements for homebuilt aircraft. We've developed a fairly novel product that we are looking to beta test and we think the homebuilt marketplace is a great place to find early adapters and pioneers looking try new things. We were wondering if any of you might be willing to answer some questions about your aircraft or homebuilts in general? Please feel free to offer as much or as little commentary as you deem of value. if you have questions or additional comments swing away, because we are really committed to developing quality products for you guys.

Thanks in Advance for your responses.

What do you utilize as the primary power source?

Is there a back-up systems? Do you need one?

What are your typical power requirements (feel free to list amps/volts or typical consumers)?

For those who have alternators or generators how are they driven (belt, gear, etc)?

We've seen some alternative power generation (wind driven) Does anyone care to offer there experience or opinion on alternate supply? Anyone try anything like solar or the like?

With more electronic instrumentation available is their a greater need to use more than just a battery?
