What does the venerable forum say about using a Junkers Doppelflügel as central elevator on a flying plank glider (slightly forward swept, Marske Pioneer II style)?
What does it do to the overal drag budget.
How about Clmax? (As compared to a regular elevator).
Would you keep the standard reflex airfoil in the center section or reduce reflex (since the elevator can generate the pitch up moment)?
