A quick question for those that have more experience in the sheet metal field than I...

Assume I solution heat treat a flat blank made of 2024-O and then hand work it over the form block after quenching (the blank starts in condition W).

How much time (roughly) do I have to work it before it hardens... at normal room temperatures ?

What if I immediately cool the quenched blank in a freezer before forming - How long can I work with it then ?

What if I work a bit - put the blank back in the freezer - work a bit more.... would that extend the time I have ?

And how long would sheet in condition W stay in that condition in the freezer?

Thanks in advance for the assist...
