Greetings, Ladies and Gentlemen,
I'm an aircraft and general aviation enthusiast from Holland (the Netherlands).
I was born and raised in the aviation industry.
Both parents worked at an airline, as pilot and stewardess.
I did a lot of flying, not as a pilot, but filling the second seat of many small single engined planes and gliders.
Although I'm not a pilot yet, I want to start my flying career with gliding next spring.
I have always wanted to be a pilot, and fly, but I was delayed a bit by my biology background...
And since I'm in my early 20's, I still have a long time to go.
I've always been into designing things, useful things. I have always thought that the design of aircraft was way out of the league of any ordinary person. Since, I've found many examples of homebuilt's and I've caught something. :roll:
I've seen many interesting discussions on this board, and I hope to learn a lot reading here. Maybe somewhere in the future I'll be flying my own plane.
