I was a part-time poster a few years back. Project then was a trike; that was too simple. Wanted a challenge and I got it...an autogyro. Will be visiting this forum more frequently and request any general engineering questions.

For instance, the force on a symmetrical rudder of x ^2 area, theta AOA at v airspeed. Is there a simple approximation?

Thanks, tried to post an icon but won't let me. Size OK.
