So it is getting to be that time of year where the weather turns cold, and I will be putting the plane away until it gets warm again (May).
I have a low time Rotax 503 requiring a 50:1 gas oil mix. My question is, should I add fuel stabilizer to the tank and run it for a little bit? Or is there anything else I should do?
I didn't think there was really much other than the fuel system to "winterize" in the plane as it will be tucked away in its trailer safe and sound from the elements.
But will the fuel stabilizer screw up anything with the gas oil mix? Or be bad when I go to start the Rotax up again in the spring?
