With the success of the Falconer V-12 powered Thunder Mustang, I wonder how close to scale one could get with a wooden Dehavilland Mosquito and 2 Falconer V-12's.

I know of one French-built scaled replica at l'aérodrome de Fontenay le Comte . It was a great effort and a great job.

But it is a little out of scale. Not to take anything away from them - they DID it.

But I wonder if one could be made to better scale with twin Falconers. And how fast would it be?>

And if it was done, how long can a well cared for plywood hull last?
