I have been considering an aircraft with an engine that was stored in Cosmoline since 1965. It was installed on the aircraft and it now only has 9 hours on it. I flew with the owner. The engine was cold and he hand propped it and it started on the first strongarm. Ran smooth. It is a C-65 on an Aeronca Champ.

Is this something to run from? They claim they are selling it because the other owner has lost interest and they are also loosing their hangar. I an interested in this aircraft simply because it is local. Fabric is better than average, the rest seems average and price is average/competitve.
