What is the rules of working on the engine that's in an E:AB certified aircraft? The reason I ask is that I want to certified my 601 XL as an E:AB and get a repairmen certificate so that I can do my own conditional (annual) inspection and work on the aircraft myself.

Can I work on the engine the same way that I can work on my aircraft, regardless of whether or not it's a certified engine, non-cert, or auto-conversion, or do are there rules?

I'd like to be able to at least repair it if it ever breaks down, if I can't do the overhaul.
