This little gem is up for sale.
Built by a well known craftsman here at Corona. Exceptional workmanship. Only 46 hours on airframe but was stored for many years. Built 1989.
Fabric is safe but paint is brittle due to age. I would fly it for a few years and then think about a re-cover.
Engine is an 0-200. Total time is a bit of a mystery since some logs were lost. Core seems to have 2100hrs but it appears to have had at least a top overhaul at some point because the cylinders seem pretty new. Also, this particular builder would never have put a worn out engine on one of his airplanes.
After going through engine and airframe it has been started and taxied and everything checks out. My IA signed it off.
Prop is metal and has less than 50hrs since overhaul by Santa Monica Props.
Starter is older and clutch could use replacing at some point, but usually works. Hand props easily too.
Microair panel mounted radio and DC headset and helmet.
Cockpit is snug! Good legroom but it's narrow.
Set of drawings and lots of other documentation.
Asking $18k.
