Hello everyone! After spending a few weeks looking through many of the threads in this forum I decided to join. Seems like a real neat group of fellas.
My name is Mike Johnson and I have 1 1/2 airplanes. The first is a Taylorcraft BC 12-D and the 1/2 is a Corben Baby Ace. Before deciding what to build I bought some blueprints to study the different airplanes available and really liked the Corben airplane. The Baby Ace is not per plans. The wing is a Harry Riblett 30-612 airfoil that Harry himself helped me with. Other mods include Adjustable Jackscrew trim, fuselage changes, aileron changes, and a bunch of other items. As of now the fuselage is a couple hours from being on its gear.
I'm an old school tube and fabric pilot but have a great interest in learning about composite construction.
