If the centre of pressure (chord position) of wing along it's span is designed so that it moves from a more aft position in the root to a more forward position at the tip, then it should produce a safe tip stall. But with a root stall tip would act counter productive, unless the pitching moment at the tips is small or zero.
Would there be other design consideration when looking at the chrod wise position of the CoP across a wing platform?
