Just heard, "once certified, always certified". I'm planning on trying to overhaul/re-build an old Continental A65 engine for my home-built. Will all the work have to meet "certified" criteria and be signed off by an A&P? I plan on doing it right with the help of an A&P anyway but just wondering if using a certified engine will cause paperwork headaches or overly restrictive operating/maintenance compliance issues.
